The Archibald Prize 2009 Finalists have been announced. The Archibald Prize displays portrait paintings preferentially of some man or woman distinguished in Art, Letters, Science or Politics.
The Wynne Prize for best landscape painting of Australian scenery, or figure sculpture & the Sulman Prize for best subject painting, genre painting or mural project by an Australian artist have also been announced. You can check out all the finalists at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
