Human Rights Medal and Awards 2007
Since 1987, the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission has recognised individuals and organisations who have made an outstanding contribution to the protection and promotion of human rights in Australia through the annual Human Rights Medal and Awards.
On the 20th anniversary of the awards, help the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission recognise and acknowledge outstanding achievements in human rights by nominating people for the 2007 Human Rights Medal or in one of seven award categories.
To be eligible, entrants must have made an outstanding contribution to the promotion and protection of human rights in Australia. An entry form and supporting material must be received at the Commission’s offices by 5pm, Friday 5 October 2007, addressed to:
